 University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) have been knocked out of the tournament after losing 3-4 on penalties to Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) while Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko (AAUA) also lost 3-4 on penalties to University of Calabar (UNICAL).
