Photos: Checkout the mess Barcelona players made in Real Murcia's dressing room

Barcelona may have emerged from their trip to Real Murcia with a 3-0 win but the Catalan giants left their changing room in a terrible condition.

A video has emerged of the away dressing room after the match and it appears Barcelona failed to clear up after themselves.

Leftover drinks bottles were strewn across the floor while Barcelona's players also left an overflowing bin underneath the sink at the Estadio Nueva Condomina.

Plastic containers with chunks of melon and gelatin squares, which appeared to be personalised for each squad member, were also left behind.

One container was inscribed with Marc Cucurella's surname, the 19-year-old defender who played the final seven minutes as a late substitute.

Arsenal players caused outrage last season when they left Sutton United's away changing room in a state following their FA Cup clash at Gander Green Lane with half-empty water bottles, used tissues and strapping on the floor.

Former Paralympic Games champion Tanni Grey-Thompson accused the Gunners of showing disrespect towards their opponents, saying: 'I'd make them get back off the bus and tidy up'. Arsenal went on to donate £50,000 to the non-league side.

Other sports appear to have a different approach when it comes to away dressing room decorum, with international rugby players in particular demonstrating class.

New Zealand's rugby team helped unpack three tonnes worth of training gear during a trip in November 2016, meaning their travelling party did not require the help of porters. The All Blacks also swept out their changing room to ensure they left it in the condition they found it in.

And Australia's rugby squad left the away dressing room at Wales' Principality Stadium in tip-top shape after an international match in November, though it is unclear whether it was the players or the staff who tidied up.

NBA star LeBron James, one of the league's highest-paid players, cleaned up after his Cleveland Cavaliers team-mates following a pre-season home game in 2016.
