It'd be very easy to blame the referee for today's loss, even though there were some questionable decisions, but Chelsea have bigger problems than Premier league referee's apparent hatred towards us this season.
Nemanja Matic was sent off in a controversial decision that saw both Jose Mourinho and Silvinho Louro sent to the stands. I honest did not think that Matic's second foul was cynical enough to warrant a second yellow card, a warning maybe? but not a yellow card.
Continue to see some of the horrifying facts in the aftermath of today's game
Perhaps Chelsea are paying for Mourinho's refusal to do business in the summer, or his decision not to try out all the youngsters, some labeled 'wonderkids' that we have at our disposal, or Jose's complete refusal to include oscar and the newly signed Papy Djilobodji (who probably would have done a much better job today than Terry considering his height) in our matchday squads.
I cannot quite place my hands on where the problem lies. Maybe we're still suffering from the Eva Caneiro incident.
This same group of players that i love so much were champions about 6 months ago, yet they left the Boleyn ground looking like shadows of themselves. Only Willian deserves a little praise from the whole 11 who played today. I honestly don't see where we're going to get a win from, unless a miracle happens.
Again we can decide to sit and criticize (which is usually very easy) or we can rally around our team and throw all our support behind them. I choose to do the latter.
