Winning the player award for the first time, Vardy received it for scoring five times in four Barclays Premier League matches last month, part of a nine-match scoring streak he is currently enjoying, the second-highest run in Barclays Premier League history.
The Leicester City striker emerged ahead of a six-man shortlist of Arsenal's Mesut Ozil (one goal, six assists), Oliver Giroud (three goals), Stoke City's Jack Butland (three clean sheets), Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne (one goal, five assists) and Watford's Odion Ighalo (three goals, two assists).
Vardy is the third Leicester player to win the award after Muzzy Izzet in September 1999 and Tim Flowers 12 months later. He was also nominated for the prize last month.
Wenger receives the managerial award for the 15th time, the second most behind Sir Alex Ferguson’s 27 awards.
The Frenchman's side won all four of their Barclays Premier League matches in October.
He won the award ahead of Manchester City's Manuel Pellegrini (W3 D1) and Leicester's Claudio Ranieri (W3 D1).
