Falcao to miss Chelsea's clash with Dynamo Kiev

After a hugely underwhelming spell at Manchester United last season, Falcao has fared no better at the Blues, scoring only once in two starts and a further nine substitute appearances.
The on-loan Monaco forward took part in training on Tuesday, but manager Jose Mourinho afterwards reported the Colombian had a “muscular injury” which would keep him out for a few weeks.
Reports suggest that the 29-year-old could be offered an escape from England by Inter Milan in January, although he would have to take a wage cut to move to Roberto Mancini’s Serie A contenders.
Right-back Branislav Ivanovic (hamstring) and winger Pedro (undisclosed) took part in training and could return, but goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois (knee) remains out.
Chelsea are third in Group G, one point behind their opponents, who sit second – and another loss would seriously damage their hopes of qualifying to the knockout stages.
