There's just three weeks to go until the start of the new Premier League season and an injury is the last thing any manager wants right now.
Clubs, managers and players are all currently busy preparing to make sure their squad is the strongest possible for the opening game of the season. But for Arsene Wenger it's a tough job with 11 players currently unavailable who could miss the first game against Liverpool.
According to Sky Sports, Wenger is likely to give his players plenty of rest after major tournaments, meaning the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez could miss the game against Liverpool.
Per Mertesacker, Carl Jenkinson and Danny Welbeck are likely to be ruled out due to injury while Serge Gnabry and Takuma Asano will be at the Olympics representing their country.
Mertesacker, Jenkinson, Sanchez, Welbeck (injured); Ramsey, Koscielny, Ozil, Giroud (rest); Gnabry, Asano (Olympics); Gabriel (illness).
