RVP and Klaas Jan Huntelaar pay tribute to The Orange General

Famous Netherlands fan Winfried Witjes, who travelled round the world to support the national team, passed away following a heart attack today and two Dutch strikers have paid tribute to the man known as the Orange General on social media. Continue

The 58 year old was pretty well known round the Netherlands national team and he followed them around through World Cups when they were doing well and times when they couldn't even qualify for championships.
The Dutch FA made a statement about Witjes saying, "As avid fans of the Dutch national team Whites was a faithful follower of Orange in the Netherlands and abroad. With its striking appearance he enjoyed much prominence in the media. The KNVB wants the family and friends of Winfried much strength."
Strikers Robin van Persie and Klaas Jan Huntelaar both paid tribute to the super fan on social media:

RIP Orange General!
