Barcelona officially completed the signing of Andre Gomes from Valencia on a five year deal.

The new signing had this to say:  "I have chosen the best club for me,” the 22-year-old Portugal international said. “It is an honour and a privilege to wear this shirt.

"I am 22 and I want to grow. I have come to learn. Here, I have many references.

"Barca relates to my way of playing football and to my identity. I hope to enjoy and win many titles." 

Meanwhile in Italy Lazio completed the signing of Ciro Immobile from Sevilla

Villarreal FC completed the transfer of Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato from Corinthians

And Premier League side AFC Bournemouth completed the signing of Liverpool left back Brad Smith.

While Stoke City attacker Marko Arnautovic signed a new Four year deal with the club ending speculations of a move to Everton.
